Mount Vernon Presbyterian School is proud to take every precaution possible when it comes to securing our school and everyone in it.
As part of our continued efforts, we have installed a school-wide software program, Ident-a-Kid. This new sign-in/sign-out system will be implemented on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.
All guests, including parents, substitutes, tutors and vendors, will be asked to present a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card in order to gain entry to the campus beyond the front desk, in each of our four divisions.
When a guest comes to campus, he or she will scan their ID and complete a few prompts on the monitor, at which time a temporary badge will print. Guests should expect the sign-in process to take less than a minute.
PLEASE NOTE: On subsequent visits, parents will be able to choose their name from a drop down menu and move through the process even faster.
